Reading all the threads as I modded my wireless router Linksys WRT54g + DD-WRT v24 1.1 and added a 4GB SD card as storage.... I would like to know if anyone got radius to work on it or asterisk....

Quite informative. I got a message from your blog, that the RADIUS+Web server has to accessed via WAN due to ChilliSpot design. However CoovaAP can use an internal RADIUS+Web server. If I setup a test environment. I have to setup following toplogic.

A router connects to WAN, and assigns DDWRT in subnet as 192.168.18.X, the DDWRT has own LAN subnet 192.168.2.X, and ChilliSpot has WLAN+LAN subject in 192.168.182.X or 192.168.1.X. And I have to put my RADIUS+Webb server in 192.168.18.X, parallel to the ChilliSpot/DDWRT.

PS, if I setup server via a static IP inside DD-WRT (not ChilliSpot), and map the port to external via DynDNS. Can ChilliSpot find the server?

Am I wrong? Hope to get information from you to prevent myself to stuck on somewhere for a long time.

Re: ernst:
No, I don't think so, but I did not try it again. IMHO the service is encrypted, so there is no point in receiving it with a DVB-T stick.

I've updated my posting accordingly. My original build was on an ARM, but the xf86-architecture is probably closer to your needs.

Hi!
In (10), shouldn't it be?:

route add -net 224.0.0.0/4 dev dvb0_0

(or route add -net 224.0.0.0 netmask 240.0.0.0 dev dvb0_0)

According to IANA (http://www.iana.org/assignments/multicast-addresses/dvb),
multicast addresses are in the range from 224.0.0.0 through 239.255.255.255.

[Dietmar: Thank you, there was a typo in the article, now I have fixed this.]
